Privacy
This site sets no cookies and shows no ads. It counts visits, and you can turn the counting off.
Who is responsible
Auroso Games, Switzerland. Write to games@auroso.games about anything on this page.
Hosting
Cloudflare serves the site. It sees your IP address, the page you ask for and your browser's user agent. Cloudflare keeps these logs as long as it needs them to deliver the site and stop attacks. Our dashboard shows us totals, plus the details of requests Cloudflare blocks as attacks.
Visit counts
We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics. It sets no cookies and does not follow you across sites. It records the page, where you came from, your country, browser and device type, and how fast the page loaded.
The switch below turns the counting on or off. It starts off when your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track. Your choice stays in your browser's local storage.
Crashes and errors
While a page is open, the site keeps a short note in your browser's session storage. When a page crashed or hit an error, it sends us a report with the page, your browser and device type, and the screen size. The report holds no personal data and sets no cookie.
Trailers and Steam links
A trailer plays from Steam's video servers only after you press play. Valve and its delivery network then see your IP address.
Links to Steam carry tags that tell Valve the link came from this site and from which page. Valve's own privacy policy covers what happens on Steam.
When you arrive from one of the studio's social profiles, the site remembers that platform for your visit, in your browser's session storage. It adds the platform to the Steam links. Nothing is sent to us.
Newsletter
Signing up stores your email address, the time you signed up and the time you confirmed it. Infomaniak Network SA in Geneva, Switzerland, stores it and sends the emails.
We send a confirmation email first, and you are on the list only after you open its link and press Confirm. Infomaniak keeps the date and an IP address of the signup as proof of that consent. Every email carries a link to unsubscribe.
Infomaniak sends the emails through Amazon Simple Email Service, run by Amazon Web Services in the USA. The signup form asks your browser to solve a small puzzle to keep bots out. The puzzle runs in your browser and sets no cookies.
Clicking into the email field loads Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that you are not a bot. It sends Cloudflare technical details about your browser. See Cloudflare's Turnstile privacy addendum. The signup also counts attempts per visitor for a minute, so one visitor cannot flood the form.
To have your address deleted, write to games@auroso.games. We do not use the address for anything else.
Where the data goes
Cloudflare, Valve and Amazon Web Services are based in the USA. Transfers rely on the Swiss-US and EU-US Data Privacy Frameworks and the standard contractual clauses.
Your rights
You may ask what we hold about you and have it corrected or deleted (Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection, GDPR). You can object to the visit counts at any time with the switch. You can complain to the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner, or to the data protection authority where you live in the EU.
